Tissot on Sale – Sporty, Swiss Stuff

Tissot, a Swiss company, has been making fine watches for 150 years. They use ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse movements. Recently, while researching dive gauge watches I came across these pieces, noticed how remarkably reasonable the prices were on amazon.com and spent the rest of the day assembling this list of multi-function watches for you folks to check out. If you’re a fan of high-tech goodies like I am, you’ll be impressed by all the clever innovations that make these watches technically superior and worth your investment. Tissot is right there with the Japanese when it comes to useful sporty complications but without all the lumpy plastic cases and buttons – the T-Touch operation makes it so much easier to directly access all the features.

Citizen – New Paradigm in Design

We adore complications. It’s not enough these days to review plain and simple time-day-date watches. Today’s wrist watch wearer expects more functionality in the strap-to-the-arm trade off and specifically things that address time, body and environment information while “on the fly.” When we jog, we can’t stop and fish around in a pocket or fanny-pack for our iPhone. People don’t take their Androids on long treks, bike hikes, skateboarding, swimming, spelunking, climbing, or surfing. In meetings it’s ignorant to pull out and start flicking around the screen of a Blackberry. Nothing beats the convenience of a wrist watch. With a quick glance (stealthfully in that meeting) the wearer can know, at the least, what time it is and if the watch has more features, so can the wearer know other relevant things.

Red Bull X Edifice Casio EQW-A1000RB

Another Red Bull X Casio Edifice collaboration is coming! It’s a limited edition (no indication from Casio of how many are being produced) which is to be released on September 23, 2011 and according to a few European sites will be distributed in Europe in October. There are actually two versions of this watch, otherwise identical except: one with Atomic receiver (EQW-A1000RB-1A), one without (EQS-A1000RB-1A)
