Aviation Series G-Shock Watches

Casio has hit on a winning formula and they are running with it. All analog dial (you know, sweeping hands, subdials, and, except for the newest model GA1000 and a couple of the older, discontinued models, no digital numeric readouts), round case, thick, chunky, and with lots of nifty features, the Aviation Series (aka, Sky Cockpit, Gravity Defyer, Gravity Master) watches appeal to more prospective buyers than you’d expect. Amazon is doing a brisk business with a few of these products.

Multi-Mission-Motor Drive – huh?

Solar, atomic, world time. stopwatch, alarm, altimeter, barometer, compass, temperature – typical Protrek, right? No, wrong. This one in a titanium and sapphire package is all analog and has all new guts. It’s Casio’s’ dive into the deep end – a concept watch finally ready to drop. Japan will get it first – release is scheduled for April 6, 2012.

Red Bull X Edifice Casio EQW-A1000RB

Another Red Bull X Casio Edifice collaboration is coming! It’s a limited edition (no indication from Casio of how many are being produced) which is to be released on September 23, 2011 and according to a few European sites will be distributed in Europe in October. There are actually two versions of this watch, otherwise identical except: one with Atomic receiver (EQW-A1000RB-1A), one without (EQS-A1000RB-1A)
