G-Shock Brings a New Top-of-the-Line G-Aviation Watch to USA
“If the Incredible Hulk wore a watch, it would be this one”
February 23, 2012 — Casio America Inc. seamlessly combines advanced timepiece technology with high performance functionality in the new G-Shock G-Aviation, GW4000-1A.
Preserving the G-Aviation legacy, this new chronograph possesses a cockpit inspired display with a large case analog dial featuring orange & white accents and Triple Resist Structure.

Triple Resist Structure is designed to withstand the shock of three forces; gravitational dropping force, centrifugal gravitational force and vibration.
The GW4000-1A also features Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping, enabling Self-Adjusting of time and date by automatically syncing the watch to any of the 6 regions’ atomic towers base on the wearer’s home city setting.
Tough Movement is an Auto-Hand location technology that automatically checks and adjusts hand positioning at fifty-five minutes after every hour. By employing an LED to detect hand-gear positioning versus internal time counter, the watch can detect any inconsistency and correct itself even if the hands are displaced by magnetic force or shock.
“Expansion of the G-Aviation collection makes perfect sense considering the popularity of the previous styles within this series,” said Shigenori Itoh, Chairman and CEO of Casio America. “The GW4000-1A brings together the absolute best of G-Shock; it features top of the line technology with sophisticated styling.”
Impeccably designed with toughness and technology as its primary attributes, the G-Aviation also incorporates other features such as Self-Charging Tough Solar Power, Shock Resistance, 200M Water Resistance, 29 City World Time + UTC, Daily Alarm, 1/100th Second Chronograph, and 12/24 hour dial.
The new G-Aviation GW4000-1A will be available for $350 in April 2012, at Tourneau and select Macy’s as well as discerning jewelers and fashion boutiques nationwide. For more information on watches for men please visit http://www.gshock.com.
